Love Story between the principals

I know the drug use part of this movie is supposed to be pretty raw, but can anyone tell me how romantic the love story part of this movie is? I think young (1970s) Pacino is so wonderful in love scenes, but there aren't that many of them that I know of from this time period. Just one little scene in The Godfather, but none in GF II, DDA, etc.

So can anyone tell me if there are any romantic love scenes between Pacino and the girl where they really kiss and hold each other? Are there any romantic scenes where they're in bed together? Curious to know if the love story angle rises above the bleakness of the subject matter.

Because of Bobby's use of heroin, his 'love angle' usually fails to rise at all.

Frank Lee Deere. I don't give a damn.

There are a couple of scenes, but they're brief seeing as how the messed-up-love they had between the two of them takes a back seat to the sadness of their addiction. There's a very brief roll in the hay under the sheets and there's a scene of them in bed together once Bobby gets out of jail.

There are small moments here and there, but no love scenes.

Oh and young Pacino is just wonderful in general.
