Just watched The Panic...and I loved it! (as much as one can love a film with this subject, but I think it was done very well).
One question. When Bobby gets out, Helen is waiting for him. Is she still addicted, because I think she looks a little better. Did she beat the addiction and got 'better' or did the cold and the winters clothing just make her look different?
She's still addicted; I didn't think she looked that much better (her hair was a mess). I think if she'd beaten her addiction, she would've stayed clear of Bobby. One thing I noticed is the look on her face: she doesn't really *want* to be with him--she *has* to because she's got no choice; it's a hopeless situation. And Bobby could care less if she's there or not. Sad ending, really. I love this movie!
She definitely looked better then she did days before his arrest. Also, the cop said everyone rats eventually so he could have ratted & maybe felt he couldn't judge her?
shareOf course she's still addicted. Now since he got out they can go back to there pathetic, depressing existence like before.
