Like this one, I mean. Stark and realistic, no sugarcoating. Anyone?

well if you are looking for hard drug addiction movies try TRAINSPOTTING. or REQUIEM FOR A DREAM. no sugarcoating in either. THE LOST WEEKEND and THE DAYS OF WINE AND ROSES are older but excellent films and deal with alcoholism, and are very realistic portrayals of that, how it affects not only the addict but everyone close to them.

"Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo"...actually this film reminded me of it a lot.
