Did anyone read the graphic novel? (SPOILER)
Okay, at the end of the movie when Butcher is telling Kolchak to get out of town, Kolchak please to Bernie for help but doesn't get any. Before Kolchak leaves Butcher's office, Bernie tells Kolchak to call him when Kolchak gets settled. Bernie is clearly sympathetic to Kolchak's situation.
In the graphic novel, however, Bernie seems to be as rotten to Kolchak as Butcher and the others. When Kolchak is leaving, everyone including Bernie has a smirk on their face. Was the graphic novel based off of Jeff Rice's novel and had Bernie be against Kolchak or did they just decide to make him nice just to give Kolchak an ally?
Annoying the world since 1960!
