Keychain in the closet?

At one point, i believe after she had the dream where she was killed. Paula goes into her closet and holds up something that looks like a dog keychain. I didn't catch the significance of this, does anyone knoew what I'm talking about?

Yes. She knew it was the key to Duncan Ely's mansion because the dog on the key chain was the same type of dog the Ely's owned.
