Why did they kill the daughter

The daughter's life was part of the "bargain" that the bad guys made with the devil. A little unclear, since the bad guys who made the pact had no connection with the girl, and therefore it was not a loss to them as it was to the girl's own parents! Hardly a sacrifice for them, in other words.

And how quickly the parents seemed to get over death! lol I think the couple should have had a beloved dog instead of child, and have the husband sacrifice their sweet beloved dog for Duncan's vicious dog- okay I got nothing! lol

The mother was not terribly upset that her daughter died!! That was very unrealistic the way she didn´t seem distraught, just carried on being as glum as before.

I noticed that as well. She acted like she didn't even care. The daughter was more upset about the loss of the dog than the mother was at the loss of the daughter. 

What i thought funny was having a black lab play the "evil" dog! Yes - they would probably lick someone to death! :-D
