I want to get this movie as well, I don't care if I can get it on VHS, VCD, DVD or any format. If somebody knows where can I get it, please let me know.

Check ebay, someone is selling the DVD. Too much price for me, I am hoping it will be released soon.

I know it foes for high prices...but I set a price in my mind and kept bidding that much each time (Less than $50)
Also from what I've read here there is an Asian DVD available.

Melody was released in Japan as DVD.
The region code for Japan is 2. USA is 1.
If you have region free player, you can watch it.
You can enjoy it in English.
Maybe it has Japanese subtitles, however you can turn off it.
Check eBay or other Auctions.
or ask Japanese friends to purchase in your school (^^)
I bought my copy from this site: www.tracyhyde.net - I think it cost me about $30. It is a conversion of the Japanese version and works on US DVD players, but with no subtitles or other Japanese additions. It is as beautiful a movie as I remembered.
