I remember seeing this film as S.W.A.L.K. back in 1971, but my memory must be playing tricks on me! I seem to remember Jack Wilde being mean to a friend of Melody's, and kicking her in the shin! The girl, I thought was a very young Pauline Quirke, but having not seen the movie for about 37 years I'm not so sure now! Can anyone enlighten me as to the identity of that girl?

Hi-The friend of Melody's who was kicked in the shin at the school dance was called Peggy Swailescroft & she was played by actress Kay Skinner.
Scroll down the "Melody" board to the thread "Recent Picture of Kay Skinner (Peggy)" for the latest picture of her & you should see the resemblance.
