Very good movie

After I saw this movie I felt Fran Drescher used Miss Taylor's character persona in this movie for her "Nanny Fine" character. I bet Drescher casted Miss Taylor in her show just to pay homage her in a sorta way. If this movie became a VHS or DVD favorite while "The Nanny" was out, people would have accused Drescher of "borrowing" or stealing Miss Taylor's great work in this movie

This film in shown on the Fox Movie Channel all the time, including yesterday. I really liked it, too. In some ways, a great period piece. I see what you mean about Fran Drescher.

I just saw this film yesterday and was surprised at how funny it remained. Very well done, and I'm also glad to see both actors still work together.

Whatever you wish for me, I hope you have twice as much.

If you check Renee Fine's page, she WAS in The Nanny several times:
"The Nanny" .... Sylvia Fine (94 episodes, 1993-1999)

Joseph Balogna and Renee Taylor have been married since the early seventies. One of the oldest marriages in Hollywood (or new York) They met as two neurotics and realizing they were made for each other and they set out confronting the life force together
