Relation to a current movie

I am doing a project for my media class and i was wondering i anyone has advice on what movie i could pair with this,

i need a couple questions answered if possible:

1) does it have a twist ending?

2) is it more thriller than horror

3) not really a question but kinda is there any recent movie like 2000-2006 movie with Kiefer Sutherland in it that is the same genre as this movie, cause i though itw ould be neat to have one with father one with son and make a connection or say something to make the presentation more interesting

if anybody can help me here that would be awesome!!!!!!
