I really want to see this movie, but I can't buy this movie here in The Netherlands. Will I be able to watch a region 1 DVD on my DVD player (if I buy it on amazon.com)?
Most likely not, unless your DVD player has been hacked. Check on here to see if there is a code to hack your DVD model and turn off regioning:

If not and you have a PC with a DVD drive you can watch it on your PC by downloading Videolan VLC player (if you haven't already got it):

It's freeware, and bypasses the region code on your DVD drive. You simply start VLC, select "Media->Open Disc" check the DVD button and press 'play'. I don't think it will work if you have a Mac though.
