Funky Fonda twitch while Klute buys fruit

It's just before they come back to apartment to discover it's been
ransacked - there's a music interlude with Klute buying fruit, Klute
catching her stealing fruit - she leaps from the curb (or
something)into the frame and twitches her head like she's developed a
palsy, then she's right back into character. Check out the VHS version
for this VERY ODD bit of blocking.

I don't think she was out of character at all, cocking her head like that. She also does it in her apartment just before she says to Klute, "Well, I thought I could trade you for those tapes" (when he asks her not to unzip her dress).

I'd say it was just one of Bree's unique mannerisms. Why, I'd go so far as to call it a Breeism.
