Why is this movie NEVER on tv?

It's a classic. TCM never shows it. It's not graphic by any means.

ive seen it on a starz channel once, and it was on WE for a jane fonda mothers day marathon, so they do play it, just not often enough :)

I think I passed by this movie on TCM some months ago.

Some cherish a sweet and fading picture; but you can recall this scene at any time.

On TCM. Greetings from Brazil.

BBC usually show it twice a year in the UK.

reply

I heard it wasn't shown much on TV because it was too violent and edited to ribbons. I haven't seen it pop up on TCM here in the US--but I might have just missed it.

reply

There's like one and a half semi-violent scenes. It'd be more likely edited for sex and there's only like two and a half scenes of that. I DEMAND A BETTER EXCUSE.

reply

It probably doesn't pop up on TCM because it's owned by Ted Turner, who used to be married to Jane Fonda. If you owned a TV channel, would you keep showing your ex-wife's best film just to remind everyone what a beautiful and talented woman you were married to and you blew it??

reply

L0GAN! You surprise me. TCM has a Jane Fonda day almost once every year (it was duirng last year's August Under the Stars or whatever it is). I don't think it's that prejudice.
