Its been a long time since I have seen this movie, but didn't she say that her husband had been a military officer or was he a diplomat and she described him as a serious person... Did she have any children? I don't remember if she mentioned any or not.. Did she come from Germany or the Netherlands...

I don't know, but she had that prison looking numeric tattoo. maybe she survived the holocaust or something?
