Just saw the film last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. One question though: Is it just me or is Britt Ekland not in the movie more than a few scant minutes, as the woman seen most of the time is "Glenda"?
One of my favourite scenes is in the pub with the female singer taking a fancy to a bloke in the crowd. She strokes his face and his bird jumps up and they're rolling on the floor clawing at each other's faces and hair (typically female, that!). Strangely that's not in the remake.
Yeah I was very suprised how little Britt Ekland was in this movie. She was the fourth name in the credits but had the least amount of screen time out of all the females in the movie. Shame because I always found her to be one hottess British women ever.

There was more with Britt Ekland, but it was cut. There was a mention that her face would be slashed and this was part of the movie, but the director didn't feel it fit in with the rest of the movie. Britt, apparently, was pissed that this was cut from the final movie.
I think that the coolest part of the phone sex scene is that while it's going on, the focus is on the landlady who is rocking her chair back and forth -- clearly, she's getting in on the action as well.
