In 1971 DH was a real game changer

I appreciate it's a great one of it's type, but it's pretty thin on story. None of these people seem real. If this is a real life fantasy, ala Robo Cop, I guess it's perfectly fine. But if it aims to be really interesting, I think it fails. French Connection, Bullitt were better films. But Clint has his charisma so why not exploit it for as long as you can?

Yeah, for sure. Way ahead of its time. It just feels like San Francisco was really like this movie in the 1970s.
