DANNY is ALEX from a clockwork orange

Here is my theory.

1. This movie is set in the modern day 80s. A clock work orange takes place in a distant future...

2. The hair styles are the same on Danny and Alwx

3. It makes sense as to why Alex is messed up. He harnessed a power of talking to the paranormal and His father turned evil and tried to kill him, his mother grew older and married another man.

4. Also, with his dad acting kind of psycho, they could have been genetic to Alex.

No offense, but this is literally the stupidest thing I've ever read on an IMDb board. And yes, I mean literally, not figuratively. This is dumb as hell.

A Clockwork Orange takes place in 1972 actually, a newspaer shows this. So I guess an alternate 1972, but still not in The Shining's future.

That being said, fantheory's, silly or not, I can always enjoy. So cheers.

I didn't know about the newspaper. I always thought it was set in the mid 90's because of the quote about the Durango 95.

It wasn't until I saw your post that I realized who "Danny" in the OP was. I've seen The Shining, after reading "It," I decided I wasn't interested in reading Stephen King again...

OP should probably have explained their point a bit more. Except their point is pretty pointless. Even if Danny grew up into Alex, what's the point aside from connecting two Kubrick movies?

What we see and what we seem are but a dream. A dream within a dream.
