Is the name of In-N-Out a reference to A Clockwork Orange?

Or is it the other way around?

Wikipedia told me In-N-Out opened in 1948 in California. So was Kubrick a fan of their burgers?

Alex's phrase " ... the old 'in-and-out' " is from the novel.

It's "the old in/out, in/out." In-N-Out is a west coast burger chain in the USA.

I really think you missed the entire meaning of the phrase.
