Heeere's Bobbie!

Did anyone else notice that Jack Nicholson said "Heeere's Bobbie" in exactly the same way he said his famous line "Heeere's Johnny!" in The Shining? He said it when he showed his history of girls to Sandy and a girl with a beamer-presentation.

Apparantly, Jack Nicholson had already made up his famous one-liner long before he became famous (or was he already a star in the time of Carnal Knowledge?). He was just waiting for the right moment to use this line >:)

Yeah, I thought of The Shining right away. Classic line delivery.

Jack even beat Robert DeNiro to this one: "You talkin' to me?" It's a repeated line in "The Shooting" (1966). When I heard it, I was so surprised!

Yes, I did notice the line during the slideshow.

Ed McMahon said, "Heeeere's Johnny!" first of all. So, it seems that Nicholson adapted it in "Carnal Knowledge" then used it straight in "The Shining".

This is a joke, right?

While I get OP's point and the discussion here, I want to clarify it was not a "line" as much as it was a delivery. In fact, "Here's Johnny" was 100% about its delivery, so Jack owns it.

It may have structural and phonetic similarities with how he'd said a similar line in this movie but "Here's Johnny" was iconic because of it's intensity & frightening revelation that it makes about Jack's character (and not merely because of how it sounds)

Yes, I notice that line also.
