No Region 1 DVD for this film?
Only caught part of it on TCM recently (it was so late at night) and the parts I saw were quite good.

shareI noticed that too. I wanted to buy a copy on DVD but the only ones I could find were Region 2. It really should have a Region 1 DVD. For those of us who don't have multi region DVD players, it would be one of the only ways we could watch the film.
I've been waiting for you, Ben.
Good news: the UK Odeon Entertainment DVD is, in actuality, region 0. I have it. シ Set VLC playback speed to 0.95 to account for NTSC to PAL speed-up, pop it in and go.
Bad news: if you're like me and rely on subtitles to make up for poor diction\muffled audio, etc., there aren't any. However, that can easily be remedied via a Google search.
You're better off going this way if you really want to see the movie, as it's unlikely that anybody else is going to license it. I could see it being a Warner Archives release or a Shout! Factory release, but other than that its chances are low over here. (Dumbass MGM sitting on it is not helping matters...)
WARNING: Some posts were written on my iPad. And some were dictated to Siri... >.>
Odeon released Blood On Satan's Claw on Blu-ray too. The film looks superb in HD and there's some interesting extras on the disc as well. It's the perfect accompaniment to Odeon's Witchfinder General BD for a great witch hunting double bill.
shareTHE UK Blu-ray of The Blood on Satan's Claw is NOT Region B Locked.
It is a Region A/B/C disc. It plays fine on my USA Players and My All Region Player.
Pricey...but worth it.
I will not fear. Fear is the mind killer.
