Billy Jack vs John Rambo

How about this match up? They're both former Special Forces and Vietnam vets. They're both part indian. They both have had trouble with the law. And they both open entire truck loads of whoop-ass on anyone foolish enough to stand in their ways. That'd be a helluva fight, I think.

I'll say Billy Jack only because he is trained in Hapkido! http://billyjack.com/

In the original Rambo book, though, ("First Blood,") Rambo is the bad guy and the sherrif is the good guy. I'd read it years before the movie came out.

Rambo, just because he can't quite get that darn pacifism thing down...

The two characters do not even exist in the same cinematic universe.

Billy Jack is a tough but vulnerable human being with ordinary human limitations. Rambo is a cartoon superhero brought to life.

Asking how Billy Jack would fair against Rambo is like asking how Rocky Balboa would would fair in a fight with Spiderman.

Well, Billy Jack was standing up to the red neck bullies who wanted to push around the kids at the school. Because the kids were passive. They didnt have that fighting spirit. Billy Jack was someone who wanted peace for all mankind. But if a fight was brewing, he wanted a piece. And he did it without the need for those pesky steel toe boots to kick peoples faces in.

Rambo on the other hand, was just passing through, and once again, the local red neck community has to mess with the person who wasnt like them. So he showed them some Rambo Revenge.

As a side note, actor Jack Starrett is in Born Losers as the tough guy deputy and First Blood as the tough deputy also. Hes the one who beats Rambo with the stick and falls out of the helicopter.
