Is The Born Losers worth seeing

It sounds like a good film with Billy Jack taking on the bikies because most of the bikie gangs are thugs. I know it was the first Billy Jack film to be made, is this film worth seeing.

Cheers from Australia

Actually, It would be worth seeing. The entire Billy Jack series is seriously dated & campy, but ya gotta experience it at least once.
Definitely a popcorn & beer movie.

"Hell yeah, if u wanna see Billy Jack kicking butt and talking smack."

Actually, he never talked any smack. He described the ass-kicking he was about to give in detail, and then the ass-kicking commenced. Sometimes, he didn't bother with the descriptions, just doled out a good, ol' fashion ass-kicking.

One line is runs smack is when he confronts three bikers.
"Well, well, well if it isn't goldilock and his two bears. Perform any good deeds today?"

reply

That's a load of crap. Billy Jack talks tons of smack in Born Losers.

For instance: "Well are you gonna fight, or do you intend on talking me to death?"

I may not know a lot, but I do know "a lot" is two words.

You really must see this movie. It was really good. I LOVE the white sunglasses. In fact, I have seen some movie stars wearing them lately. Guess they are coming back in style. Check it out :)

Yea, watched the movie today and it was tops, I bet the movie annoyed a lot of bikies when it was made. Billy Jack was cool and calm under pressure, so it was worth seeing.

God bless all you Billy Jack fans

Born Losers is a much different film structurally then Billy Jack and it had more professional actors involved in key rolls and real bikers playing the thugs. The movie also started Elizabeth James as the heroine. James left films and teaches sculpture in Santa Fe but she was quite fetching and made a wonderful damsel in distress. Billy is introduced but he plays the roll as a white guy that people claims is a half breed. There is almost not political commentary in the movie but it does deliver a fairly strong law and order message. Those of us who have seen all four Jack movies typically think Born Losers is the best.
