So bad it reeks
Billy Jack, the star/director/clown/megalomaniac, made this crap with money from his less talented and ugly wife's family money. Ms Taylor also wrote it---probably with a crayon. It made a lot of money but as a film it's worthless. It fed the idealistic and hypocritical youth of the '70's with such BS that most are now too embarrassed to admit seeing it. On the positive side, however, it should be shown to film students because everything--and I mean everything about it--should be avoided. Laughlin's "acting" is reminiscent of a corpse and yet he was able to make sequels with more BS. Fortunately, the last one nearly bankrupted his company and put an end to this worthless enterprise. Uh no, I didn't like it, and yes Ms Taylor is-- as mentioned by another commenter--ugly as a cockroach.
