Where's Glenn Corbett?

Since Glenn Corbett (O'Brien) is fairly high on the cast list, I expected to see him in at least one scene -- but he's only in the film for a few seconds at a time, and since the last 20 minutes of the movie are almost in complete darkness, you can't see him the last time he appears. I wish he'd been more famous and had bigger roles. At least he got a great entrance in *Chisum* 2 years before this film.

I love Big Jake, it's one of my favorite John Wayne movies, but my one complaint is that John Fain's gang (Richard Boone) is underused. Other than the narration in the beginning, we never learn much about them, and then after the ambush of the Texas Rangers they disappear till the end of the movie.

And there were several really good possibilities for characters among the game. Glenn Corbett's O'Brien seems to have some hostilities with Boone, Harry Carey JR is excellent, and the big man with the machete always gives me chills. How about some more background info? Eh, just nitpicking, I still love Big Jake.

I agree, my main grievance is the complete disappearance of 'Young Billy'.

He's the guy Ethan Wayne pokes in the face with a pitchfork early in the movie.

He was the guy killed by Patrick Wayne near the end of the movie when he tried to outdraw Wayne to show who was the better drawer.
