Clapping her hands together in excitement: "Oh, it's a *robbery*!!!"

"You should go into *her* room and see what she reads! The Story Of O!! Seventy-three years old, and all she can think about is sex!"

I think the old woman is Judith Lowry . Her last role was 'Mother Dexter' on the Cloris Leachman show 'Phyliss'

Thanks for placing Judith Lowry in the context I remember her: From the Cloris Leachman show "Phyllis." And why isn't that on DVD?

Actually, nasty old spinster Miss Gulch was the one that enjoyed porn !
Makes ya kinda wonder what she was doing with all those guards ... and I don't even wanna think about the monkeys and/or Toto !

Yeah, the old lady was a delight.

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

That character was good but it points up some disturbing things about being a senior citizen.

Some seniors are so lonely that they count it a welcome thing to have a violent burglar in the house who is at least talking to them. The old lady was willing to give up her valuables just for a few minutes of company. They should never feel this way.

Go and visit your grandparents and the other seniors in your family. Periodically take them out for dinner or order take-out dinner and bring it to them. Give them something pleasant to expect and they won't tolerate the shysters, thieves and con artists who come to their doors.

As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. - Proverbs 23:7

I don't think she was lonely -- only suffering from the doldrums of a humdrum life at that point. It was exciting for her.
