Lem Vesalius
Despite not having a large part, Lem Vesalius (Sean Bury) was very important to the story line in that he provides that one important clue which gets his father, Dr. Vesalius, back on Dr. Phibes's trail. He tells his father that the owner of the music shop knew Phibes, and when Dr. Vesalius goes to talk to him, the music shop owner tells him that Phibes had been his patron for years, and still was. The scene where his father has to operate on him to save him from the acid is so riveting and keeps you on the edge of your seat. When Dr. Vesalius finds out Lem is missing, and picks up that photo of him and doesn't say a word, the silence speaks volumes, of an anguished parent wondering what has happened to their child. Did anyone else feel the same way?
Dreaming is nice, but it's time to stop dreaming and start doing.
