I saw it for the first time today and thought it was simply amazing. I am quite certain it won't be the last time I watch it either. I wanted to watch it all over again right when it was over.

I agree that it is really good and makes you want to rewatch again and again. I first saw it several years ago on Halloween night when it was raining and our evening plans ruined. We were all so disappointed and bored, then we found Dr. Phibes which saved the night! I just got the Shout Factory BluRay and watched it again. I showed it to my brother for the first time, having told him that it was one of the most bizarre films I had ever seen, yet strangely cool. After watching, he could only agree. I'd really like to see the sequel again.
