Boycott Paramount

Why the hell don't they release the damn rights for "Four Flies On Grey Velvet"? Obviously they're not making any money acting like complete Ass.holes.

If only there was some place that had a lot of information about who (as in who, personally, put specific people's names with all this talk and non-talk) owned the rights, why it wasn't being released... All we're getting is talk from each other and speculation. If they had any idea we were this pissed off, they'd respond somehow. I wonder if they still receive letters, they probably won't read them after the Friday the 13th collection disasters.

It seems like they're probably thinking that it would take more money to produce the DVD than they would make by doing so. They're one of those companies that has that attitude about releasing things where they won't let anyone else have the rights. Just like Warner Bros. But they're perfectly comfortable lending out the rights to companies wanting to do remakes or sequels, because then the only money they have to lose, there's no possibility of losing in that equation. I have no hope this movie will ever see the light of day on DVD. But DVD miracles have taken place and that makes me a little more optimistic.

It's just the time involved is pissing me off.

I was wondering what you meant about the "Friday the 13th collection disasters"? What happened? Were they poorly produced?

Released as censored films. Again. Even the once nightmarish UK, now has an uncut F13th 1 disc.

I'd love to see My Bloody Valentine get an uncut release from Paramount.

The director offered his pristeen and uncut copy of MBV for the dvd release. For free. Paramount declined the offer...
