I really enjoyed this film. I especially dug the welcome and refreshing elements of offbeat humor. Plus the killer was genuinely creepy. 8 out of 0 from me.

the postman,tramp(bum)and gay private dick are painfully unfunny,the acting is also pretty bad but overall its a ok film deff not his best but not his worst
shareI look at Four Flies as a precursor to the most surreal films he would make, especially Deep Red, so to me, it seems more Argento to me than the only other early Argento film i've seen, which is Bird With the Crystal Plummage

Maybe I'm missing something, I watched an old beat up bootleg first and thought it was his weakest of his early films, I rewatched the R1 release and I still think its his weakest early film. 6.5/10 for me.
The humor wasn't funny, it was annoying and the use of the score was pretty poorly done.
