If you are really desperate you can watch this film in 10 instalments on 'you tube'! it's watchable and the sound is OK. but only if your desperate OK.

A perfect example of how YouTube negatively impacts a film's owner, when someone posts the ENTIRE movie. (same for the bittorent sites) People who watch it on YouTube will not bother buying or renting the DVD when it hits the US.

That's not really true. I think of the youtube and other streaming versions as crap filters, If the film is any good, people will still buy the dvd, its just that most of us only have so much money to spend on dvd's and there are LOTS of movies out there, many of them are crap. Who wants to spend $30.00 to permanently own a crappy movie? So we preview the movies in low quality versions on our computers, then buy the good ones in high quality to watch on our big screen HiDef TV's

Well if Paramount would have gotten off they're asses 30 years ago we wouldn't have to search for bootlegs or suffer 4 flies on youtube. Here is another hole in that argument: I plan on buying the movie as soon as it hits the street.

I agree. It should be out on DVD. It is crazy that it's not. It should be a brand new print from the original neg, all spruced up and the DVD packed full of extras. then it would sell.

I disagree with the youtube thing being bad. I watch films on youtube sometimes but its aggrivating to watch it in 10 minute incriments and the quality isnt the best. I judge whether i think id like a film by watching some of the film or clips and if i like it i support the filmmaker and purchase it. Same thing goes for music
