I thought it was amazing to see Bud Spencer in this movie! I've loved his performances since I'm a kid, watching him in all those silly comedies with Terrence Hill. I never imagined he'd ever work in a horror movie, but his role here was perfect for him.

According to Cozzi, he and Argento were friends from the westerns they did togheter.
Spencer was filming a 'trinity' movie by day, and at nights and spare time did this small role.
