Blooper?

I don't know if anyone would know this, but I'm wondering if this was a blooper that was left in: in the pilot episode, Once Upon a Dead Man, the day after the robbery, Mac and Sally are riding in the car looking at a newspaper article of the robbery of the sarcophagus. When Mac sees his picture he says, "Well, that kicks the hell out of-" and stumbles over the words "any anonymity". Then he says to Sally, "Try to say that", and they have a little exchange before they get back to discussing the robbery. I was just wondering if anyone knows if that was scripted or if Rock really messed up the words and the two of them ad-libbed the little exchange afterwards. It just seemed way too off-the cuff to be scripted, and it was really funny! I have been wondering about that for a while, it's kind of a weird question but I just thought I'd ask! If it really was a blooper, it was a great fit with the scene!

I noticed that too. I also wondered if the coffee exchange
was ad-libbed some too.

I'm not sure if any of it was scripted but it was wonderful. Mac and Sally's interactions were so real, way ahead of it's time. I hadn't seen this since I was ten or eleven when I watched the rotating series faithfully. I believe it was called, "The Sunday Night Mystery Series" ??? As far as Hudson's sexuality I was actually watching it thinking what a good actor he was, for he seemed very straight and his chemistry with St. James was excellent. I miss him.

If this was a super low budget thing, I would say it was probably an accident. It is of course, always possible that he flubbed up and they kept it, but when I went to Hollywood and saw they tape everything from 5 angles it made me think not much gets unnoticed.

All,
It was a flub by Rock and they kept it as a as libbed blooper in the scene!!
