I just watched an episode from season 4. I'll admit I haven't seen any other episodes but a few things struck me as odd. 1) Mac is police commissioner of San Francisco. San Francisco does not even have a police commissioner. I live here. It has a civilian police commission. 2) Mac never appears to go to work. Does he have an office? Wouldn't he spend most of his time at the office if in fact he were the commissioner (chief?)? 3) He takes his wife with him along on investigations. Really? And she's pregnant in this one. 4) Mac is probably 30 years older than Ms McMillan. She doesn't look like a commissioners wife, more like his hippie daughter.

It's a romantic adventure fantasy, not a documentary about the San Francisco Police.

Hudson was twenty years older than Saint James, but looked younger.

It's "Mrs." McMillan.

There is no official "look" for a commissioner's wife.

Sadly, you responded to a post made on IMDB and that member will be very unlikely to see it here. However, you were right on the money. The post was ridiculous. Expect a TV series to be believable? LOL

Plus, they showed McMillan in his office quite a few times during the series run.
