Season 1
I'm loving the shows. Reminiscent of the great quality of writing and acting on shows such as Mannix, etc.
HOWEVER, why are there only 13 episodes, plus the pilot on this DVD, when Season 1 had 24 episodes?
What a rip-off!
Like many other tv releases recently,"Cannon" has been split into two parts.The cover should say "Season 1,Volume 1".You have part 1 now and will have to wait(and pray) that they release the 2nd half of S1.I see the point of doing it this way,but I hate it.If the sales are poor,then you're stuck with only half a season of your favorite show.That stinks.
They also did this with William Conrad's other show "Jake and the Fatman".

I just finished watching the 13th episode and looked at the box and it does say, "Volume 1", really small, down at the bottom! I guess I could have looked better but I wanted the show. Oh well, marketing tactics.
Great scripts and there is just something loveable about William Conrad! I never cared for him in "Jake and the Fatman" but here, he's a big teddy bear, especially with his clients!
I always loved the way he would kind of roll out of that battleship Lincoln he always drove. He and "Barnaby Jones" are my two alltime favorites from the 1970's.
