I was only 9 or 10 when Cannon went off the air, but I always thought it was funny when Cannon would chase down a suspect on foot. I always wondered which detective I would want chasing me, if I was a criminal: Cannon, Barnaby Jones, or Ironside?!? I believe I could get away from all three.

shareCannon did'nt take sh*t from anyone. There was an episode where a guy had a gun to his face while driving in the Los Angeles river and he threathened to drive it into a wall if the guy didn't drop the gun.
I also seemed to remember that he threathened to put a guys face in the broiling french fry oil.

His fist-fights were a riot, too. They'd have to choreograph them pretty deftly to keep me from laughing out loud. And the way he walked, or even stood around, always with his hands in his pockets, for more of a slim look. Toughest voice on TV, though.
