I had no idea that there were so many Cannon fans still

Sort of thought that this was a forgotten show. I watched it a lot as a kid, and the thing that bugged me was that Cannon never seemed to have any friends or colleagues who would be on every episode. It was always just him. That did not make it believable for me. Other than that, it was OK.

Cannon is the show with which I've always most associated Carey Wilbur, Larry Alexander, Stephen Kandel, and Anthony Spinner. Until recently, I thought Anthony Spinner and Stephen Kandel were with the show from beginning to end. I used to watch Cannon regularly during the summer (when I didn't have a bedtime) Wednesdays at 9:00.

Cannon has a huge following in Eastern Iowa. Especially, Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, Coralville, and North Liberty. The radio station KCJJ (The Mighty 1630) are huge fans of the show as well. The University of Iowa has played the theme song to Cannon many times during their football games.

Hanging around Cannon was fairly dangerous. Those close to him tended to get caught up in crossfire.

the fat man was a badass.

i loved seeing him putting on the feedbag with unaffected relish, laying the chop on a punk with those big sandwich clamps, running chumps down with his boat-car.

he usually was helping the beleagured against the corrupt & powerful. that never gets old.

i like when he tried to hide behind a tree.

I have been a big fan of most or all of the Quinn Martin shows. There are a few of them that have yet to be released. I just bought the complete Cannon Set from VEI. I really am enjoying the show. I also bought the Streets of San Francisco and I have Barnaby Jones on order. My favorite Quinn Martin show is The FBI, but all of them are really good solid shows. I reccomend any of the Quinn Martin shows if you like Cannon. They all have a certain style to them that works well. The Jack Webb produced shows also have their own style that works well.
