I've had this on DVD for months but Ken Russell's death reminded me to watch it. I was blown away. The performances, the way it was shot. I cared for most of the characters. Will definitely find time to read the book soon. Glenda is still a favourite of mine, and I was surprised how good Jenny Linden was!

Might be one of the best relationship movies. Had it been conventionally shot, it would require enormous patience to sit through the whole 2 hours, but Ken Russell sure knew how to make it dynamic.
