Behind the scenes featurette

I recently picked up the DVD THE HORROR OF HAMMER, nearly two hours of trailers from Hammer's library of films fantastique. In addition, the DVD's bonus features included some alternate trailers, and a showman's promo for WHEN DINOSAURS RULED THE EARTH, called BEAUTIES AND THE BEAST. The short talks about how Hammer have always found incredibly lovely ladies to play opposite their monsters, and promotes the studio's latest discovery, Victori Vetri. Some brief clips from the film, as well as a couple of behind the scenes shots, round out the short subject. Print quality could have been better (this particular print has been through the projector a few times), but if they ever FINALLY get around to putting WHEN DINOSAURS RULE to DVD (full cut of the film, please, not choppped up version shown in the States), maybe a better copy of the promotional reel could be found and included as an extra.
