The Music is "Marche de la Garde Consulaire" just type it into google there are a few sites with it on, if you wish to listen to it.
shareI believe that the two French marches are: #1- unnamed...an original piece written by the film's composer Nino Rota (played when the army was deploying before the battle). #2- "The Victory Is Ours" (not the original French title...something like "La Victoire est a Nous"). This one was played during all the French assaults. The Counseler Guard march was used in Bondarchuk's other great film WAR AND PEACE.
shareThe music is La Victoire est à Nous! The Consular March referred to by another writer is used by Bondarchuk in his earlier _War and Peace_ during the battle of Borodino.

I loved that game.
RIP, FOG.
Did any FOG player have The Prussians come at Waterloo? Great game, an update would be good.
shareFOG was by far the greatest Military Strategy game EVER!!! Im pissed to this day because I still have the cd however it runs way to fast on any modern day computer. Hopefully someday there will be a way to play this classic.
P.S The Prussian do eventully come at waterloo, however there are Prussian units to the right of th ebattelfield on the hills, which I'm not sure they were there at the begining of he battle Historicly
You should try out WATERLOO: NAPOLEON'S LAST BATTLE.
:)

The March played during the advance of the French troops on Hougoumont
is La Vieille Garde (The Old Guard). There are two cuts on the Waterloo soundtrack LP that feature this march. One cut is the long version which starts with the distinctive drumbeat Napoleons army attacked on.
i DISAGREE i BELIEVE IT IS vICTORY IS OURS
WHAT ARE U NUCKING FUTZ?!

As another noted, it is the Marche de la garde consulaire. That is confirmed by an album I have. I guess it technically would not have been used on the Hougomont attack since the Guard wasn't involved. Since this was before the use of battle animations, the scenes in this movie are truly classic and will never be done again.
