Catherine Deneuve's voice

I'm about half-way through watching this, where Tristana and her boyfriend are just leaving on the train. I'm watching in Spanish with English subtitles, as my Spanish is pretty good but not enough yet to comprehend a whole movie like this. Catherine Deneuve's voice strikes me as similar to Sylvia Piñal, does anyone know if Sylvia dubbed her voice? I recently watched Viridiana and El Angel Exterminador so maybe I'm just accustomed to hearing Sylvia's voice in Buñuel's movies. I didn't want to search too much for info on this movie on the internet and accidentally read some spoiler.

Try to watch the original in French. Fernando Rey is dubbed in French due to his accent. It is quite possible that Silvia Pinal was in fact the voice behind Deneuve but you will be able to listen to her in french, it's a delight.

The "original" (term loosely used, as there was no live sound and all versions are post-dubbed) is the Spanish track. Deneuve and Nero are dubbed, but about everyone else have their own voices. This is one of Buñuel's most Spanish movies.

I don't think Silvia Pinal dubbed Deneuve. Pinal is Mexican and this voice has a strong Spanish accent.

The voice of Deneuve was done by professional Spanish dubbing actress María Luisa Rubio.
