I actually saw the original on Laser Disc

It's on the net. I came across it accidentally. And I never saw the original print. I been watching the new Lucas version for so long it's like watching another movie. It's very 1971 but original. He totally re edited it and in way re did added new parts in the dvd version of it and even more taking away parts from the original, the remake is more coherent although the story line in the original is more understandable if that makes any sense . I downloaded this copy from a true laser disc entitled the original version. If your a fan I would look for it. It was a slow download but worth it. It will mess you up if your used to the newer cleaner version. I couldn't believe it looked this old and in mono. It's all twisted around and a lot of changed scenes.
