I remember watching a stop go animated christmas film where the people of the forest find the human baby and raise him. There is mother nature and others, and he grows up to be santa. Is this this film or is it another?

This is the one.
The baby was left on the doorstep of the Kringles who were Elves.
They raise him and teach him about Toy making and other things.

Mother Nature was briefly in the next Rankin BassChristmas special called "The Year Without A Santa Claus".

He's taking the knife out of the Cheese!

The one you are talking about is called the life and adventures of santa clause made in 1985 i love that one too.

It was written by Frank L. Baum and is also a book, but frankly the movie (1985) is better than Frank L. Baum's book
