Sandy Duncan as Jessica

Okay, I've been wondering this for YEARS, ever since this was finally released on VHS -- What happened to Sandy Duncan's credit from the opening credits of this show? I remember it from my childhood, and you can hear the musical cue as the Fred Astaire puppet begins to dance to the "My World Is Beginning Today" -- THAT credit is supposed to be "Sandy Duncan as Jessica," but instead there is a slight cut, and the "letter" that falls out of the sack is Keenan Wynn as the Winter Warlock.

What gives? Even IMDB here doesn't credit Sandy Duncan, and the DVD likewise didn't restore the missing credit. Doesn't anyone else who grew up in the 70's remember this?

Sandy Duncan didn't play Jessica. The voice of Jessica was Robie Lester. She also wrote "My World Is Beginning Today."

budikavlan is correct. It was always the same actress.

Also had one for Sammy Davis jr.

I thought the thread was going to suggest Sandy Duncan could have played Jessica in a tv movie.

Well, maybe 40 years ago...
