SD Kluger?

My twin toddlers decided this is their favorite movie, and after watching the movie for the billionth time this weekend I tried to look up what the hell SD said in the beginning:
Well hello there! My name is Special Delivery *garbled word, sounds like Pluta* You can call me SD for short.

So easy answer - in the cast list Fred Astaire is billed as SD Kluger. Ok? Here's my question: Is that just a random last name they made up for the character, or is there some significance to the name Kluger?

Side note, my husband and I have debated whether or not SD is the love child of Jessica and the Winter Warlock, and also where he's taking him at the end. I think he's taking Winter back to the nursing home.... We really have seen this movie a few too many times this month....
