Annoying sound effects

I haven't seen this in ages...Every time one of the main characters moves, there is an annoying jangling that is supposed to be the spurs. It doesn't match any movement and is very loud and jarring, it also comes and goes at a whim. Totally distracting!!!

I came here to say the exact same thing. It's driving me crazy. The sound effects guy was working overtime on this movie. It's not needed at all and then to make it so loud and obvious? Annoying.

Another example that stands out to me is when they are robbing the train and it's crashing through the rope brakes they had set up. It's uprooting the trees the ropes are attached to. The sound effect they chose to use for this was very distinctly the sound of thunder rolling. I expected it to start raining any moment. Weird. Poor sound effects in this for sure.

You want annoying sound effects by jangling spurs, watch a Clint Eastwood western. That guy has the noisiest friggin' spurs in western movies.Especially in Two Mules For Sister Sara.
