Great titles sequence
I love, love, love the opening titles sequence for this film. The score is gorgeous and the choice to show Holmes' and Watson's dusty belongings being taken out of storage sets up the film's melancholy tone well.
shareThat opening is among my favorites in all of cinema. It sets such a mood, and evokes so many feelings. Best, it's matched by the final scenes.
I'd be hard-pressed to name many films with better beginnings and endings.
