The one major problem with this movie
This movie was a refreshing take on SH. The problem is that the first half of the movie is this obnoxiously overlong setup to a joke and the movie's premise.
shareYeah, that party scene I thought for sure was gonna come back into play later. Like the Russians were spies or something like that.
shareEvidently, the movie was originally written -- and filmed -- to show three separate mystery stories for Holmes to solve, like an anthology.
One of the three stories was cut completely, leaving two -- without explanation as to why one story just ends and a new one begins.
