cult section movie
this film is hard to find but if you go to a really good video store in an art college town, they tend to have a cult section with old vhs movies and they usually have this one...as well as dennis hopper's "the last movie".

My local SF Bay Area California Block Buster was carrying DVDs by 1999. I remember because I rented "City of Angels" and forgot to return it before I went on a cruise vacation. I ran up $30 in late fees and was so disgusted with BB that I haven't rented from them since.
The worst part is, I hated the film. :\
