Every time I watch Patton I forget about the intermission. I remember as a child these were somewhat common in movies. What cracks me up is that TCM plays the intermission. I guess I'll tip my hat to them for keeping the movie intact.

TCM always uncut.

Before there was a Pause button, people still had bladders. So intermissions were common in longer movies.
