Been to the filming locations?
i think its so cool out there at the lighthouse grounds,
the keepers houses are completely redone and look beautiful,
last summer we went down the driveway to the keepers houses
and saw the family standing out there next to the huge iron tower and
the two large houses.they looked at us for a second and then just turned around it was funny because i thought we would get in trouble but i guess alot of people do that,,
I live on Galveston Island and have taken the ferry over to Bolivar a number of times. It's pretty cool seeing the lighthouse. One of these days, I'd like to walk over to where the filmed the outdoor scene at the water, where Marlene says, "Oh, my poor sweet Charlie."
shareI'm 26 and have I've lived in Bolivar my since birth and am really glad it received no damage from Hurrican Ike. I pass there every morning on the way to the ferry. I just ordered a used VHS tape of this on Ebay for my Dad for Christmas. I can't wait to see it.
